Bridgette is a co-founder of Equal Direct, along with Nick Scarlett. They are also the co- founders of the parent company, Equal Group Holdings Limited.
At University she studied law and is an enrolled barrister and a solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand. Bridgette has chosen not to practice law and therefore will not provide any legal advice. Instead, she elected to leverage this background to serve as a springboard for her successes as a business entrepreneur and business leader.
Career highlights include Bridgette being a co-founder of a highly successful direct ‘hamper’ business that was headquartered out of Australia; serving as the Chief Executive of the New Zealand Gynaecological Cancer Foundation; Head of Relationships at Organic Initiative, a women’s wellness social enterprise, and founding the acclaimed divorce coaching business ‘Equal Exes’ (where she continues to be Chief Executive).
Bridgette is a CDC Certified Divorce/Separation Coach, Settlement Strategist, Relationship Coach, Collaborative Coach, Divorce Mediator and has a post-graduate dispute resolution qualification.
Nick is the co-founder of Equal Direct, along with Bridgette Jackson. They are also the co- founders of the parent company, Equal Group Holdings Limited. Nick’s career to-date includes him holding various executive leadership roles within different multi-national organizations, (whilst being based in numerous countries over that period).
In addition, he has been accountable for the development of people teams ranging in size from a handful up to and including 40,000 +. In parallel to his comprehensive cross-border business experience, Nick has also established and run direct channels in B2C and B2B2C environments.
Nick is an advocate for mental health and wellness and he has a personal interest in encouraging corporations to view divorce and separation as a significant life event of staff. As such, he works with companies in establishing support resources for staff who experience such things. Nick’s passions also include philanthropic opportunities and he has been actively involved in various Rotary sponsored initiatives.
